• High-performance natural or synthetic rubber is vulcanised inside the steel pipe by means of special production equipment for vulcanising rubber lined pipes. The vulcanisation process further improves the properties of the rubber, making it more resistant to abrasion, ageing, chemicals, etc., which enhances the overall stability and durability of the rubber lined pipe.
Adhesive rubber lining：
• Another common process uses high-performance adhesives to bond steel and rubber linings.

• Good abrasion resistance and longer life
The test results of wear resistant rubber lined pipe abrasion value are generally within the range of 0.03~0.20 cm3/1.61km, which is about 3-5 times of plastic. Its abrasion resistance is 4-6 times higher than steel pipe.

The rubber elastomer has low density (1.2g/cm3), light weight, good vibration absorption and excellent mechanical impact resistance. The vulcanised rubber lining pipe is even better.

The rubber elastomer can withstand all kinds of acid, alkali, salt and seawater corrosion.

The rubber lined pipe has good lubrication and low running resistance, which can save running costs. The absolute fine roughness of the inner wall of the pipe is only Ra0.02668, its self-lubrication and non-adhesion performance is good, the running resistance is about 20% smaller than the ordinary steel pipe, which can save a lot of electricity costs.
